Bookings
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. Higher rates and a longer minimum night stay may apply during the holiday/festive season.
Please check our booking site for current rates as sometimes we have specials.
Russell House caters for a maximum of seven guests with four bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and 2 have King Size beds. Bedroom 3 has one long single bed whilst Bedroom 4 has two long single beds. We may be able to assist you with an 8th guest, please contact us to discuss further. We also provide a secure two-car garage. The price includes linen, towels, tea and coffee provisions, toiletries and cleaning. A complimentary mid week service is included for all bookings 7 nights and over.
A cot and highchair can be supplied at no additional cost. Please advise when you book.
Terms and Conditions
To secure your booking, a deposit of 50% of your total accommodation fee is required using our “Book Now” button. The balance of your payment will be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your arrival date.
By paying a deposit confirms you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
Any damages and additional charges will be processed on the credit card provided. If a credit card is not provided, a $750.00 cash security bond will need to be paid upon arrival.
Check In Time
We will endeavour to greet you at check in time from 2.00pm. An earlier check in time may be arranged, pending the departure time of previous guests and housekeeping arrangements. Please call to check.
Check Out Time
Check out time is 10.00am, however a later check out can be arranged, pending other booking arrangements. An additional fee applies.
Parties and Noise
We have a strict no party or event policy. We have residents that live above the property and would appreciate a no loud noises after 10.00 pm. If you are found to have contravened these rules we reserve the right to ask you to leave with no reimbursement of your accommodation fee.
Keys
The front door is accessible via a touch screen key pad. Closer to your arrival we will email you the code to gain access. There are 2 remote controls for the garage doors. These are an expensive item to replace, so we ask that you do not loose them. If so, a replacement fee will be charged.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that guest take out comprehensive travel insurance with a reputable insurance company to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. As per our cancellation policy, guests will be responsible for the full payment of accommodation fees in the event of a no show.
Liability
The owner does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongs, baggage and vehicles during or after your stay. We do not accept liability for any injury, disruption caused and additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by an event, which are beyond our control which includes natural disasters.
Breakages and Damages
We would appreciate that Russell House is returned in the same condition as found. Any excessive cleaning or garbage removal will incur additional charges. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear will be charged to your credit card.
Cancellation Policy
We understand your circumstances may change and you may need to cancel your booking. The following cancellation policy applies:
- If you cancel more than 2 calendar months prior to your arrival date, 5% of your accommodation fee will be deducted.
- If you cancel more than 1 calendar month prior to your arrival date, 10% of your accommodation fee will be deducted.
- If you cancel within 30 days prior to your arrival date, 50% of your accommodation fee will be deducted (which constitutes your initial deposit).
- If you cancel within 14 days prior to your arrival date, there will be no refund of your accommodation fee.
- If there is a “no show” there will be no refund of your accommodation fee.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by Chau Family Trust (“Company”), the owner of Russell House.
1. Personal information – The Company is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognizes that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously.
2. Collecting personal information – The Company will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily.
3. Use of tracking technologies – The Company uses tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons to make use of the website and services as convenient as possible. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to a computer’s hard disk for record keeping purposes. Most web browsers are set to accept tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons. These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s browser.
4. Using and disclosing your personal information – Personal Information will be used for the primary purpose to fulfil obligations under any request for a booking to stay at Russell House.

Security Policy
The security of credit card data is mandated internationally by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We have a responsibility to keep customer data secure, and we do not transmit, process or store card data, and we use a compliant integration method from SecurePay. With SecurePay, we do not have access to full customer credit card information or data. This helps to reduce our business risk and can help make customers feel more secure when they pay online.
